Q: What makes you different from all other learning sites out there?

A: Great question, our methods are based on actual student experiences.  We've tutored hundreds of students and have worked with materials from over 200 different universities.  This ensures our materials are relevant and we know where most students have trouble. This enables us to focus our materials towards those areas and go lighter on concepts that are easily picked up.

Q: What qualifications do you have?

A: We don't teach what we don't know. Our staff is composed of professional educators, advanced degree holders (Accountancy, Finance, MBA), current and former military members as well as advisors from a variety of industries and businesses. We also employ Certified Fraud Examiners, Lean Six Sigma professionals and those with Project Management experience and credentialing. 

 

Q: How do you produce your courses?

 

A: Our courses are produced based on first and second hand knowledge of the subject materials as they apply to today's students. For example, over the last five years, our staff has worked with students from over 50 universities in the subject of Financial Accounting alone. In addition to having taken the courses ourselves and passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, we know what universities and standard setting bodies are covering.  Through this we have created the topical areas of our courses to give you the best experience and materials related to your area of study.

Q: Do you keep your courses up-to-date?

 

A: Yes, we periodically review our courses to ensure they are meeting today's business and test taking challenges. With the world constantly changing around us, understanding how our subject areas are changing is critical. As certified practitioners in these areas, we are required to maintain a level of continuing professional education (CPE) and we pass our leanings on through our courses.  Announcements are made whenever there is an update to course materials.

 

Q: I need live tutoring, can you help?

A: Yes,  We've taught thousands of hours 1 on 1 or with small groups.  We offer Pay-Per session or savings when you bundle with an online session subscription.

 

Q: How does online tutoring work?

 

A: We use a platform of convenience to you (Google, Skype, Teams), allowing us to whiteboard, screen share and communicate via video. We will review the problems or areas of content you are having trouble with and provide guidance on how to solve and work through those challenges. We also cover lecture material you may not have understood during your other classes. We also provide material that we cover with you during the session to you at the end, providing you a custom set of notes for you to review!

 

Q: How does online tutoring scheduling work?

 

A: We use a shared calendar (will provide a link) that allows our students to take open slots as needed.

Q: Do you provide refunds?

 

A:  Refunds will be made for 100% of a course purchase price (for courses that are not free), if an e-mail is sent within 24 hours of the course purchase to pclancy@stratfieldsolutions.com.

 

You must provide your name, email address, and reason for your refund request. As part of the refund process, your access will be immediately removed from the course. You are not permitted to utilize, re-distribute or otherwise copy any material obtained through your use of the course.

 

A platform user (defined as an account within Teachable's platform) is only permitted to receive one refund within a calendar year from the original refund request.
